I’ve joined in on a collaborative effort to expose great games from all genres on a new website called ggMonster. Go check it out, it looks pretty nice…!

2010
•01.04.2010 • Leave a CommentA new year, and things to do:
- continue trudging through my last semester of law school (almost there :0)
- find a job/internship/something that will pay money
- read more
- eat less
- exercise more
- sit on my ass less
- find a productive (maybe money-earning?) side hobby
- volunteer at a non-profit
- register + pass the bar
- spend less
- have fun more
- be a better friend
- don’t make enemies
- love more
- hate less
- boost the stock market with my willpower
- save more money
- make more money
- play less games (maybe…)
- keep in touch with more people (probably the hardest one here)
recap of 2009 coming soon i hope…

For the Sake of Update
•09.25.2009 • Leave a CommentI’ve been spending a lot of time on my gaming blog, just because I game a lot and thus have more to contribute to that blog. Now that I don’t put game-related posts here however, it’s become rather empty. Considering I go to law school (which involved as much work as it has been hyped to have), outside of school, games, and my girlfriend I don’t have time for anything other than surfing the internet (and this happens in class usually…huzzah).
With that in mind, onto other stuff…like…
The weather in DC seems a bit colder that it was last year. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, the job market for budding lawyers is not going well at all -_-…I would like to hold a moment of silence for those already out of law school who are struggling to find a job. Fear not, I will be joining you soon.
And, I need to schedule a trip back to California sooner or later…I am indeed craving some ddukbossam and some warm weather as well.
Until the next significant event occurs within my life, farewell.
Looking Back
•09.16.2009 • Leave a CommentWhile browsing the internets with StumbleUpon today, I came upon an interesting fictional dialogue between a professor and a student wishing to become a law student/lawyer.
The dialogue had one part that said:
“So that’s why I say that law school is not about grades. It’s not about being prepared for class. It’s about mastering the material. Mastering the skills. Of course, preparing for class helps with that. But your goal should be to practice — and then practice, and practice some more — the skills that will help you to become a responsible, caring, helping professional.
The difference between a fifty percent free throw shooter and an eighty percent free throw shooter is often the difference between winning and losing a basketball game. You can’t gain that kind of skill in one afternoon of practice — or one year for that matter. A lawyer’s skills take at least as many hours of practice as free throws.”
One thing I can definitely say about my experience is that I have definitely NOT been putting this into practice…how unfortunate that I had not read this work sooner, or I may have approached law school much differently. Knowing my own personality/nature however, I probably wouldn’t have. Oh well.
